Who Are we?
Beginnings
Maximal Fire started as a lockdown project in 2021 formed by Alex Peake and Ben Davy. Over the course of 11 months we focused on delivering monthly podcasts discussing Adeptus Titanicus and focusing on tactics, game play and community.
We quickly learned that at the core of the game was a solid community of dedicated players who we shared a common love with and we wanted to bring these people together. We set up the Discord server in the summer of 2021 and it’s been a hub of the games community ever since, sharing everything from tips and tactics, to painting tips ever since.
That same summer we held our first every Titanicus tournament which was quickly followed up with another 5 months later. The tournament scene has since sat at the core of what we do, organising at the point of writing 5 large scale tournaments with Beachhead 2023 bringing in the largest ever number of players at an organised event ever in the UK.
Expansion
At the end of 2021 Ben made the decision to move on from the podcast. Alex enlisted the help Johnny Eaves to continue the channel and continue to expand the content that Maximal Fire provided.
Looking to expand, Alex and Johnny set up an Adeptus Titanicus YouTube channel, creating additional content such as reviews and battle reports along with the help of friends George McStocker, Matt Bramley and Oliver Spry with the format continuing to refine throughout 2022.
Alex and Johnny continue to take the helm, hosting podcasts, battle reports and reviews, all focused on Adeptus Titanicus and Legions Imperialis!
